Personalized Wedding Designs

Whether you want the day to be more personal, more memorable or more Instagram-able, bespoke illustrations and customized designs bring a unique touch to lifes special moments. I work with clients to create custom graphics packages that can be used across invitation suites, event signage, and party favors.
When Robyn first approached me with the fun idea of personalized temporary tattoos & stickers at her wedding, I was in. The process starts with a conversation, learning more about the client and their big day so the designs are tailored to their liking, giving them exactly what they envisioned.
Once I’ve recieved reference photos, my design process always starts by sketching with a no-bad-ideas mindset. I begin testing out different iterations of what the client directly asks, illustrating different styling, typography and placement. In addition to the must-haves, I sketch pitches for the client that tie into the themeing or help tie the overall suite together.
After reviewing the first round of sketches, I realized we didn’t have anything making a nod to the location of the wedding. Although the couple was based in NYC, they were getting married in the brides hometown of Erie, PA. I added personal designs that would be easily recognizable by Eerie locals and welcoming the grooms side of New Yorkers travling in.
An “I Heart Erie” graphic was created in the classic NYC style that guests on both sides of the aisle loved. Representing NYC took form in an ode to the grooms favorite sports team (whose team colors inspired the wedding color scheme!). Continuing to tie in the color palette, I drew up an ice cream cone popular in the Erie area adding hearts to the cone wrapper to make it more wedding-ready.
In the end, I was able to provide the couple bespoke designs that made their special day all the more special and personal. By the end of the wedding, all the guests were covered in tattoos and stickers!
